Finding a nursery, prep school or senior school can be a stressful experience for families, especially when combined with additional pressures such as moving home or relocating. We understand the importance of finding the right school and will support you throughout your school search process.
We can arrange for assessments to take place in your child’s current school or at your home overseas, and all of our communications prior to visiting schools can be done via telephone or Skype. Guidance is given on how to prepare your child for the entrance exams and we can support you through an English assessment if your child speaks English as a second language. We also work with American and international schools in the UK to ensure you have a choice of different schooling systems.
We can recommend property search services to help with your house search, and can collaborate with them to ensure property budgets are in accordance with areas of the suggested schools. We also suggest tutoring companies to ensure your child is ready to start their new school.
Getting started
We start with getting to know you – we talk to you and, if appropriate, your child, and ask them to take assessments if necessary. Once we know your child’s current academic level, their interests, talents and future ambitions, we will then put together an individual, tailor-made programme for you, detailing our expertise and successes, the strategies we use and how we can help you on your journey. This will give you a number of options to consider before you make a decision on how to proceed.
